To tell the story of World of Wildlife, I have to tell you a little bit about myself. I started World of Wildlife as a place to learn about the amazing wildlife that we share the planet with. I've had a passion for both the exploration and conservation of our wild places for as long as I remember, but one experience in particular changed my perspective on the natural world

"No one has ever set foot down there."

I'd been lucky enough to spend some time in the rainforests of Belize, but as wild as it was to listen to howler monkeys, cross paths with jaguarundis, and swim alongside crocodiles, the most life-changing part of my journey came on a plane ride. As I crossed the heart of Belize in a little single-engine airplane, we passed over an expanse of jungle unlike anything I'd ever seen. As far as you could see in any direction, was an endless sea of green. The pilot says to us, "No one has ever set foot down there." Given just how isolated, dense, and expansive it was, I was certainly inclined to believe him. Seeing that beautiful jungle as far as the horizon, I was filled with both the joy that places like that still exist, and the burning desire to protect them.
